Her creative process stems from a strong technical background and a professional dance career that began in the concert world. Her extensive training in ballet, contemporary , jazz, tap, hip hop and musical theatre have founded her idiosyncratic style. Over the past decade, she has been creatively fueled by a variety of acting techniques and structured improvisation exercises which have prompted an evocative energy to her kinetic creations. Amy is an internationally renowned guest teacher and choreographer and is also the artist director of annoDAM Dance, her non-for-profit company. She was born in Canada and is currently based in NYC.
