Matthew Williams’ new clothing line, Alyx, draws on aesthetics from Paris and Pismo Beach, referencing subcultures richly. The debut collection, for Autumn/Winter 2015, is full of millennial urgency, clean lines and nods to the undercurrent. To celebrate the launch, Williams asked long-time collaborator Nick Knight to create a fashion film. Shot both on location in Brighton and in SHOWstudio’s London space, the work features Tallulah and Scout Willis and a custom soundtrack with lyrics from Danzig’s ‘Mother’.
