Pavel Samokhvalov is a Moscow-based photographer. He studied Scandinavian history but dropped his studies to play rock in a band of contemporary academic musicians. He then left the band to study cinematography at the Moscow Film Institute. At this point, he started working with Russian glossy magazines such as Esquire, GQ, Vogue, Numero. Then he moved to commercials. But his newest passion is experimenting with video and 3D technologies.
