First Look: Introducing our Spring 2024 RTW collection, NATURA, presented at #ParisFashionWeek. “For Spring 2024, we were inspired by the simple beauty of nature through various art forms. For key collection prints, we were drawn to the lovely, unexpected colour combinations of abstract landscape colourists and mixed these with the more scientific mood of classic botanist art against clean white backdrops. We also explored the visual symmetry that is found in nature and looked to 3D naturalist sculptures for inspiration in creating detail, shape and movement. The collection direction is clean and fresh, with a strong expression of colour, sculptural silhouettes and a variety of textures. ZIMMERMANN Resort 2023 Ready-To-Wear, High Tide

Presenting Resort 2023 RTW, High Tide First Look: Introducing our Resort 2023 RTW Collection, High Tide. “For this Resort season we’ve dived into all things nautical and embraced the romance of sailing. I loved looking at all these gorgeous images from the 50’s and 60’s of women on idyllic sailing holidays and tried to capture a sense of the simple elegance and holiday glow that came from our references – there’s hints of nostalgia through the collection but with a fresh and fun take. We worked with our artists to create jaunty sailboat prints, placement world maps and classic 50’s ikat florals. The mix of both liquid and sharp papery fabrics creates movement in our silhouettes, with some of the key looks opening up, almost like you’re walking through a breeze. Funnily enough I grew up sailing on a small boat with my Dad on weekends and holidays in Botany Bay in Sydney, which wasn’t particularly glamourous, and certainly not that relaxing! I think I prefer our take on a sunny holiday on the sea!” – Creative Director, Nicky Zimmermann.

Introducing the Resort 2022 Ready-To-Wear Collection, The Postcard. “For this Resort season I wanted to create a collection that had a real sense of joy and escape. Looks that embodied all those great feelings and memories of a wonderful holiday - the anticipation, excitement, fun and laughter. We were given the opportunity to work with some of the beautiful art of James Northfield who created some of the most iconic Australian travel posters of the 30, 40’s and 50’s. I love the use of colour and the romantic nostalgia of the imagery. We’ve tried to create a collection that is light and playful.
