John grew up in a small town in rural Canada, with a skateboard under his feet and a video camera in his hand. A few decades later not much has changed. After working his way up through the camera department, John became a director of photography, working on both narrative and commercial projects. John’s work has recently been selected at the 2019 Vancouver International Film festival and the 2019 Festival du nouveau cinéma. His commercial clients include Toyota, Mitsubishi, Scotiabank, LG, Unicef, Powerade and more.
