Youtube

Bella Hadid embodies the signature Pocket Bag - a vision of beauty and feminine power inspired by the Burberry animal kingdom. Riccardo Tisci has assembled a team of iconic creative talent to bring the Pocket Bag to life, including photographers Inez and Vinoodh, stylist Katy England, make-up artist Isamaya Ffrench and hairstylist Christiaan Houtenbos.

Creative Director

Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin are a Dutch fashion photographer/director duo who have been working together since 1986. The Dutch partnership rose to fame in the early 90s due to their approach of challenging traditional fashion photography. Experimenting with the latest digital imaging technologies, their early work captured the imagination of art critics, who were mesmerized by the sophisticated interplay of elegance and horror. The pair met whilst studying at the Art Academy in Amsterdam and following careers in and around fashion, began working together formerly. They are regular contributors to Vogue Paris, Purple Magazine, W Magazine and V Magazine amongst many others and have created advertising campaigns for brands including Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, Gucci, Chloë, Givenchy, Balenciaga, Chanel, and Roberto Cavalli.

England studied art and design at Manchester Polytechnic from 1984 to 1988, after which she assisted at Elle, The Mail on Sunday and The Evening Standard. After meeting photographer and Dazed & Confused founder Rankin, England was brought on at the magazine and has styled for the title ever since. “You want the designer to be able to achieve the dream they have, to develop it and make it happen. That’s the point of us, that’s why we’re here." She is best known for her work for Alexander McQueen. From the beginning of McQueen’s career, England was transporting garments, researching collections and working on show production. Since the designer’s death, England found a new collaborator in Ricardo Tisci, styling his shows, campaigns and editorials during his tenure at Givenchy. Previously fashion director of both Dazed & Confused and AnOther magazine, and now senior fashion editor-at-large of the latter, England is one of the most innovative image-makers in the industry. She has styled campaigns for Jil Sander , Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Giorgio Armani and worked with major photographers including Mert and Marcus, Alasdair McLellan , Inez and Vinoodh, Willy Vanderperre and Nick Knight .
