Stephen Derluguian

A freelance colorist and filmmaker who lives in Los Angeles, CA. Stephen was born in Krasnodar, the former Soviet Union, to professor parents. Work was scarce when the iron curtain first came down, and so, when he was just a toddler, his family moved to Chicago. Stephen grew up watching classics of international and Soviet Cinema on VHS, gifts his father brought back from his Russia. In 2012, Stephen graduated Magna Cum Laude from the USC School of Cinematic Arts with a degree in Critical Studies. Since then he’s been working tirelessly to learn all aspects of physical production: gleaning from experience the brass tacks of how-to filmmaking in Hollywood.
