Daniel Kragh-Jacobsen

Daniel Kragh-Jacobsen (b. 86) directs narrative work, music videos and commercials, and has done so for more than 10-years. His work often exhibits a feel for the complexities of youth - narratives that capture small human moments, but seem to arrive there without pretence or effort. He studied directing at the American Film Institute Conservatory (class of 2013), where his graduation film Turtle gained him a shortlist for the Student Academy Awards. Daniel was one of the founders of the Scandinavian production company New Land, with whom he has collaborated on award winning commercial projects, most notably The Family, which won a Gold Lion at the Cannes Advertising Festival in 2016.
