Corwin Thorpe

Cowin "Dori" Thorpe was born in St. James, Trinidad & Tobago on May 18th 1988. At the age of 15 he developed a passion for entertainment and video production. He prides himself in being a versatile DJ, Editor and Camera Man. Chasing his passion, Dori started working with Rembunction Productions as an errand boy and quickly moved up the ladder to camera assistant. Considered a very fast learner, the role of camera assistant was not enough for this determined young man. He began to involve himself in other aspects of video production and taught himself to edit videos by watching his co-workers as they performed their duties. On his 20th birthday, his drive landed him a position as a camera man at the popular local television station Synergy Tv. His skills as an editor would not go un-recognized by his peers and artistes in the industry alike, and in 2009 he was awarded Synergy Tv’s Most Improved Employee recognition. Soon his services were required by the likes of Machel Montano, Patrice Roberts, Umi Marcano, Trini Jacobs, Jah Melody, Ravi B, Nisha B, Vetta, Fadder Moses, Devon Matthews, Rajin Dhanraj, Melo Bugs Family, Seema.
