Alewya

The British singer-songwriter and Creative Director was originally born in Saudi Arabia to a Sudanese-raised Egyptian father & an Ethiopian mother. She was brought up in an ashram before her family relocated to the UK as refugees and following grew up in West London. Her sound reflects her roots and her name, Alewya, which means “the highest” in Amharic.
