Morphogerador(Quattro)

4x HD channels, generative software, 4x 55" LCD screens, computer installed at Elektra Gallery in 2019. Science is continually looking closer or farther to help to unravel nature's phenomena. Utilizing a reaction-diffusion system, Morphogerador is a reflection on biological processes that create structural color as we see in such insects like the Morpho butterfly, and many species of beetles. These reaction-diffusion systems were applied by Alan Turning in his seminal article "The Chemical Basis of Morphogenesis" to describe biomorphological systems. Morphogerador uses similar algorithms are used to create an ever evolving, yet stable system that continually brings the perspective both closer and wider without ever reaching the smallest or widest view.
