Torn In Two - Beachwood Sparks

"Torn In Two," Beachwood Sparks' long-awaited single produced by Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes, showcases the band's signature Western swing and the blend of soft signature, expressive vocals of Chris Gunst. The song crests with a glorious guitar solo that electrifies the soul. With Robinson's seasoned touch, the track and animated video by Mark Neeley captures the raw energy of Neil Young's Zuma era, while weaving a narrative of West Coast environmentalism. After 12 years, the band's return is marked by both familiarity and lil' bit of evolution.

Born in Barcelona. Graduated at ESCAC on cinematography. From the beginning of his studies he has tried to make a place of his own in the cinema industry. His passion and enthusiasm have helped him to start working on different film crews. He has been lucky to learn and work alongside some of the best. Always, surrounded by people who he really admires and respect, on a professional and personal level. On 2014, he made his dream come true by photographing his first feature film, “Amor Eterno”.

Visual artist, creative, problem solver and director focused on creating unique experiences and experimental films, for brands, festivals and museums, Mau Morgó pursues work at the intersection of art and technology. Starting as a graphic designer, he has since undertaken a wide range of projects including film and animation, 3D printing, VR, concerts with smartphones as instruments, publishing, and installations. He has exhibited at: Au Palais de Tokyo (Paris), the New Museum (NYC), and at festivals Primavera Sound, and Sonar Festival. He has worked for brands such as Lexus, Samsung, Converse, Ford, Bombay Sapphire, Acer, and Seat as well as musicians A$AP Rocky, FKA Twigs, Spoon, Little Dragon, and Cut Copy. After winning two Golden Laus and the Grand Laus Award, he was invited to design their entire 45th identity and ceremony. During his first keynote speech, Mau staged his own death at Offf Festival 2015 as a commentary on the ephemeral nature of ideas. He lived to tell the tale.
