At 10 years old Lluís wasn’t shooting Super 8 movies. He was just playing in the streets with his friends. His passion for photography flourished as he developed his critical and aesthetic sense. He was raised in Barcelona but began his career as cinematographer in New York, where he studied and worked between 2009 and 2011. His thesis film "Breathe", was official selection in numerous international film festivals, like "New Filmmakers New York". Since 2012 he is based in Mexico City, working on all kind of projects, like commercials, films, tv-series, documentaries…etc Among his most outstanding works are the fashion film "Movement 1" for Simple By Trista (official selection in some of the biggest fashion film festivals in the world and Best Cinematography Award in the 2016 Mexico Fashion Film Festival), the short film "Nostalgia" (Official Selection in the 2016 Cannes Short Film Corner) and his work as Mexican unit cinematographer in the internationally acclaimed “Fragil Equilibrio”. (2017 Goya winner for Best Documentary).
