LOEWE | An Otter's Tale

For the launch of the William De Morgan capsule collection, LOEWE collaborated with BAFTA-winning director Nina Gantz to create a film that brings to life the master ceramicist’s fantastical subject matter and the textiles and textures from the collection itself. Combining stop-motion animation with live action of models, the story unfolds within West London’s Leighton House, which contains close to one hundred works by De Morgan.

LOEWE Fall Winter 2023 women’s runway collection

Continuing the reductionist act that started with the Fall Winter 2023 men’s collection; bringing it forward and reducing it further. In a current moment defined by utter extroversion, the Fall Winter 2023 women’s runway presents an introvert stance that’s about silhouette, texture, and the way materials react to light. Leather, silk duchesse, satins, velvet, cashmere knit, feathers, crystals. Black, brown, camel, white, red. A pop of pastel. LOEWE Spring Summer 2023 men’s runway collection

Birds flying, fish swimming, water dripping and humans kissing on screens. The real and the digitally reproduced. Nature and technology meet within a glaringly white, mind-expanding environment. A collection that juxtaposes to entice new perspectives. Plants that have been grown on a series of garments and shoes are the result of an experimental process developed in collaboration with Paula Ulargui Escalona. The idea is that over time the pieces merge with nature. They took 20 days to reach the desired level of growth in a specially constructed polytunnel on the outskirts of Paris. They require regular watering and maintenance to ensure a runway-ready appearance. Casting Ashley Brokaw

Fashion that entices a reaction, stripped bare to a crude primitiveness with the thrill of kink. Touch is stimulated: shearling, leather, felt, latex, tweed, knit, 3D printed fiber, silk, resin. Make up Pat McGrath

Shot by Gray Sorrenti and featuring a soundtrack by 1980s Ibizan band Locomía, the LOEWE Paula’s Ibiza 2021 campaign film tells the story of a collection suffused with sunny Balearic optimism and escape. Continuing our commitment to promoting craft and the work of artisans around the world, the collection includes basket bags woven by craftswomen in collaboration with Corporación Oficio y Arte in Colombia and Project Shamuk in Ecuador, as well as ready-to-wear fabrics made by artisanal collectives in Burkina Faso, part of the Ethical Fashion Initiative.
