Jacques Naude

Born in South Africa, Jacques Naudé is a largely self-taught Director and Cinematographer. His style portrays evocative visuals rich with texture and color, and a sparse, authentic dialogue and his narratives explore the deep-rooted connection between mankind and their environment. “My approach as a filmmaker is always to invite an eye and ear into a setting as if they are there to experience the subject matter first hand. Never to taint, never to preach, never to objectify.”
