Francisco Salvadó is an Art Director and Strategist working across Branding, Content, Digital ( UX/ UI ), Advertising and Experiential Design. Based in London since 2002 and working in the intersection of Fashion, Culture, Design and Technology. Francisco has managed to seamlessly work across a vast spectrum of media in an ever-changing environment. Adopting new technologies and disrupting old paradigms. Originally trained as musician. He later found an interest in Digital Media and decided to pursue an Engineering Degree in Multimedia and Internet Systems. Salvadó started his professional career within the publishing world, on the leading fashion and culture publication Dazed & Confused/ Dazed Digital, pioneering the use of digital media as part of an influential team. During this time, he also contributed to bespoke projects for leading brands such as Nike, Ray-Ban, Adidas, Prada, Miu-Miu, Wrangler, Phillips, Armani and Diesel. 2008 saw him join Nick Knight’s SHOWstudio, working together with the team across a myriad projects injecting fashion editorials with new ideas. In 2009 he was appointed Interactive Art Director of AnOther Magazine, and worked together with Jefferson Hack and the team to create AnOtherMag.com. In 2010 Salvadó founded SOON IS NOW – a Creative Consultancy – and continued working with leading creatives and organisations, such as Raf Simons, Hermes, Acne Studios, Alexander McQueen, 3.1 Phillip Lim, SSENSE, Dazed & Confused, Vogue Hommes, Topman, Marios Schwab, Alister Mackie, Nick Knight and Nicola Formichetti. In 2012 Salvadó curated TheInstaPaper #edit1, a concept book printed entirely out of Instagram images. The second book in the series, TheInstaPaper #edit2 launched in late 2013 and brought together Robert Montgomery, Liz Goldwyn, Michael Nevin, Alex Prager, Humberto Leon, Tom Van Dorpe, Brett Lloyd, Cyril Duval, Tierney Gearon, Johan Renck, Pierre Debusschere and Matthew Stone amongst other artists. In 2014, Salvadó took the role of Creative Director for SSENSE – the global e-commerce platform known for its selection of luxury brands and cutting-edge content. Developing cross-channel collaborations with some of the most relevant brands to date. Including Loewe, Valentino, Stella McCartney, Vetements, Ann Demeulemeester, Hood By Air, Off-White and Maison Martin Margiela. From 2016 onwards, Salvadó continued working on 360 Advertising campaigns, Strategy and Digital Initiatives between London, LA, Hong Kong and London.
