David attended the University of Georgia where he majored in Telecommunication Arts and minored in Film Studies. At school he was fortunate enough to work on numerous projects both in and out of school. While finishing his degree, he also took part in the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences and mtvU's Oscars Correspondent Contest and attended the 83rd Oscars as a guest of the Academy and mtvU.
