Christian Stroble

American-born Fashion Editor and Creative Director, Christian Stroble, began his career as a womenswear designer in the early 2000’s upon completing his studies at The Fashion Institute of Technology for both Interior and Fashion Design, respectively. With the launch of his first women’s collection Eventide in 2004, twenty-four year old Stroble established a niche in the contemporary market as an innovative young designer; garnering the loyalty and admiration of premium stockists and celebrities such as Barney’s and Natalie Portman with his unique brand of understated American cool and old world sophistication. An aesthetic he continued to hone when he embarked on a further successful career as a stylist in 2008. He has since been a contributing guest editor and stylist to numerous fashion publications such as Dazed & Confused, Elle Magazine, Details, L’Officiel Italia, Numero, Rolling Stone, Teen Vogue, V, V Man, and Vogue. He founded his namesake leather goods company Stroble New York in 2013 , a capsule luxury accessories collection sold exclusively at Barney’s. He was later appointed Senior Fashion Editor of At Large Magazine in 2017. He is most recognized for his anthemic and zeitgeist-driven imagery, often exploring the subversion of gender, sexuality, and the political status quo with a refreshing modernist approach to classical beauty ideals. Stroble now splits his time between LA and NYC.
