Emily Ludwig Shaffer | MAFF Artist Spotlight

Based in Brooklyn, New York, artist Emily Ludwig Shaffer depicts “architecture and gardens to explore domestication, gender, and the figure”. The beautiful environments she builds within her paintings create spaces for female figures to socialize or “perform on their own terms”.
