Bobb Barito

Bobb is an Emmy Award-nominated sound designer and re-recording mixer based in New York with over a decade of experience. An alumnus of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, he has dedicated his life to the art of sound. Over the course of his eclectic career, Bobb’s body of work has covered everything from commercials to cartoons to arthouse films. Bobb has sound designed and mixed television shows for NBC, Nickelodeon, Amazon, TLC, Fusion, and Netflix, and commercials for Nike, Burger King, The North Face, Mercedes, and more. His film work has been displayed at hundreds of festivals around the world, including Sundance, Berlinale, Slamdance, Tribeca, and SXSW. In 2018 he was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Sound Editing in a Preschool Animated Program for his work on Amazon’s Click Clack Moo: Christmas at the Farm, and he currently sound designs Nick Jr.’s Blues Clues and You. Bobb is also an award-winning director, writer, musician, and painter, so he treats every project as a unique composition with the creator in mind. His latest short film, Light My Fire, played at dozens of festivals and is featured on Short of the Week and Omeleto. He is also the co-founder, producer, and drummer for dream folk band Proper Youth.
